The Arlington Education Foundation is excited to announce a pilot program offering grants to AHS student activity clubs. The Club Grant Program will award 12 grants up to $350/grant to help with the purchase of materials or to offset the cost of activities.

Amount

12 grants will be awarded up to $350/grant.

Deadline for Application

Applications will be accepted until February 14, 2025

Who Can Apply

Club Grants are open to established AHS student clubs. A club is considered eligible if they meet all AHS rules for clubs, have participated in the October, 2024 Club Day event, and are listed on the AHS Club Homepage. Club Advisors and students are eligible to submit a Club Grant application.

Key Guidelines

Club grants can be used for a variety of things for example – to purchase materials for club activities, or to fund fees for activities that the club members will directly participate in or benefit from – grant requests must meet the criteria outlined on the AHS Clubs Rules & Guidelines 2024-2025. Grants can not be used for food or teacher stipends.

Grants will be evaluated on several factors:

  • How well the grant aligns with the club’s goals and theme.
  • The potential impact of the project on the club.
  • The reasonableness of the proposed budget.
  • How feasible the project is based on the resources available and the timeline.
